Private Experience: Designed for individuals or small groups

Participants will begin the tour by exploring the first cabin Butch built, later occupied by Mr. John Henry Toney. Next, we’ll visit the Original Museum, where Butch first displayed the dinosaur bone he discovered at age 14 in a nearby creek.

The tour continues to Butch’s Studio and Bone Room, followed by a walk through his home, which he designed and built himself. We’ll return to the Studio to conclude the tour, offering a final opportunity to experience Butch’s work up close.

After the tour, participants will take part in a hands-on workshop to create their own Memory Jug. Butch will provide the jug and all necessary materials, while visitors are encouraged to bring personal objects to include, making each Memory Jug uniquely their own. Additional objects from around the farm will also be available to inspire and enhance the creative process.

Duration: 4 Hours

All tours begin at 11:00 AM CST

Once you have signed up for your tour, the director of the Museum of Wonder will reach out with additional details and be happy to answer any further questions.
